For someone who thought they utilized technology well in the classroom, I found this to be somewhat challenging, but exciting at the same time. I grew up using Facebook so I am well versed in how it works and how to interact with others on that platform. Twitter, however, was a new adventure for me - and one I’m still learning to navigate. I was able to directly interact with many people through social media and be directed to other avenues of resources. For example, my first contact was with an IB/AP Spanish teacher in Arizona. I was able to chat with her about IB/AP classes and how they work as well as get her opinions on certain matters relating to my personal inquiry project. She directed me to other resources such as ACTFL articles regarding my topics as well as other blogs and people who would be good to follow on social media. I was also able to connect with Rafeal Angel Mendoza through his blog about IB teaching and learning. He was able to share with me some great content regarding my own content area and questions about IB teaching in the Language B classroom.  This experience has opened my eyes to more ways to connect with fellow educators and I’m excited to continue my learning by reaching out and interacting with more IB professionals.
