IB Learner Profile
The learner profile is the “IB’s mission in action”. The IB learner profile shows the different attributes that IB learners strive to be. These attributes include inquirer, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principles, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balances, and reflective.
The IB learner profile represents these ten attributes which are believed to help individuals become responsible members of communities. According to , “learning takes place best when it is connected to what is genuinely a component of the world around a student”. By striving to embody the attributes of the IB learner profile, it is the hope that the IB program will grow students into motivate inquirers and learners who care about the world around them and the people who inhabit it.
